Features of Waimarie's care
Waimarie, which was once a high care centre, now is specialising in care only for medium to low care residents. As the name reflects, any aged person or pensioner can live here – there are no age restrictions.
Owner Maria Kovacs, enjoys looking after the residents. She cares for them like family and adds joy and warmth to the home.
Maria and her husband Peter both live on the premises which gives residents a feeling of extra security. They both believe that it is important that the residents know that there is always someone who cares close by.
In addition to the care provided by Maria and Peter, day staff also provide specialist care. Residents also have access to visiting doctors, hairdressers, manicurists and pedicurists.
