Food Features at waimarie
Peter Kovacs, who is the co-owner and manager of Waimarie, looks after the planning and cooking of all five daily meals. A chef for 35 years, Peter has worked in some of Brisbane’s most exclusive restaurants. He now prides himself in preparing delicious, healthy, well-balanced meals for all the residents at Waimarie.
They go to the markets each week to buy fresh fruit and vegetables. Then Peter plans the five meals a day very carefully to ensure optimum freshness and nutrition.
He receives many compliments from the residents about the good food. There have also been reports of improved health from residents and their doctors.
